At Dorchester House, I found a warm atmosphere and perfectly cooked breakfasts. Lorraine and Simon offered delightful little surprises, like cakes upon return. the toilets were a bit noisy. a charming stay that I’ll remember fondly as an art lover exploring Keswick.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the nice hot showers after our hikes and the super cozy family room that fit us perfectly. Relaxation opportunities like the peaceful garden and a cozy reading nook made our time even better. Just a heads up, you need to order breakfast the night before, which felt a bit odd planning ahead, but it wasn’t a big deal. 😊

This was just a prime choice for a fleeting trip in Keswick with fantastic value for money. The breakfast was all you can eat, which was a nice surprise. Make sure to arrive early if parking is a concern.

Breakfast was easily the best part, featuring delicious bacon and a good selection of options, tailored to my preferences. I loved the little touches like homemade cakes in the evening, it made the stay feel special. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the town centre and nearby trails for hiking. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere in the B&B, which was nice after a day of exploring. One downside was the parking, as it’s on-street only, though I found a spot quickly each time. some noise from outside could be heard during early mornings, which might be an issue for light sleepers. everything was fantastic. I'd definitely stay here again.
